We routinely perform innovative surgical procedures using the da Vinci robot (robotic prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic pyeloplasty, robotic sacrocolpopexy) and are well-versed in advanced laparoscopy (laparoscopy nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy, partial nephrectomy, adrenalectomy).
We manage all female urologic issues such as vaginal vault and uterine prolapse (cystocele, rectocele, enterocele), urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, and fistulas (vesicovaginal, rectovaginal). These conditions often require sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic evaluation, and we offer these (cystoscopy, urodynamics, pelvic floor rehabilitation, physical therapy, biofeedback) in the appropriate circumstance.
We also manage all male urologic condtions with the most advanced surgical and medical techniques. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (prostate enlargement), for example, is common but it takes an expert to determine which treatment - medical or surgical (transurethral microwave therapy [TUMT], greenlight photovaporization [PVP], saline transurethral resection of the prostate [TURP]) - is appropriate. Erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism (low testosterone), and male infertility are treated in a similar manner.
We offer extensive and appropriate treatment for all urologic oncologic (cancer) conditions as well. Bladder cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, ureteral cancer, testicular cancer, penile cancer, and adrenal cancer are all treated with the most up-to date surgical techniques.
Additionally, we offer evaluation and treatment of nephrolithiasis (kidney stone disease) and have extensive experience in ESWL (shockwave lithotripsy), complex ureteroscopy, and percutaneous nephrostolithotomy (for treatment of staghorn stones).
