South Bay Urology Medical Group is the first and foremost urological group in the South Bay area. It was founded by Dr. Joseph Schultz in 1963 and brought to prominence by Dr. Joy Paul, where the group has remained since the 1970s. Since taking the reins, Drs. Matsunaga, Lesser, and Morrisroe have contributed their skill and knowledge to further the comprehensive urological care provided to the South Bay community. The South Bay is not just where we work, but where we all live and call home.
Our excellent reputation is the result of providing years of high quality, honest, and compassionate patient care both in the office and in the operating room. While we are experts at surgery, we will also advise when surgery is not your best option.
Our urologists provide care for all types of adult urological problems. We are on staff at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance as well as outpatient surgical centers. All three doctors have been involved with training and teaching UCLA urology residents at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and are active with their continuing medical education.
